TYM4CHANGE is a Community Support Service specialising in assisting vulnerable members of our community who require in-home assistance, social and community support. Their strong connection to the Community is through their lived experiences and ability to connect with people. They are passionate about supporting the community and utilise evidence-based training they have developed themselves to provide meaningful, positive, and wholesome experiences to those who engage in their services.
TYM Owner Founder
Teresa is known as Beelya Yorg/Yok woman of the Bibulmen Noongar Nation, from the Southwest of Western Australia. She has over 30 years of experience and industry knowledge working in Government, Non-Government and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations including building and designing Aboriginal Community Cultural Centre's.
Self Determination, Empowering and Enabling Aboriginal communities to take control of their own Indigenous Affairs is a key component of creating positive change in Aboriginal Communities.
Led a number of Aboriginal Community groups in co-designing award winning culturally appropriate programs both State and National in Education and Health. These models of excellence are still delivered in Hospitals and Schools Nationally.
A licensed Master Instructor in Aboriginal Mental Health First Aid who has worked in remote communities in NT & WA as part of the National Suicide Prevention Strategy since 2017.
